It would seem that Brian Timms is no longer running his website at www.briantimms.fr
Many of us have made great use of all his hard work on heraldry. He started in 2001 with the civic heraldry of France, added heraldic pub signs, cigarette cards and postage stamps, and then spent years on the most popular part, listing and illustrating thirteenth and early fourteenth century rolls of arms. I am particularly grateful for his work on the Vermandois and Wijnbergen Rolls, which could not easily be found elsewhere. Those of us who bought his CD have a treasure trove of information. The only consolation for us all is that the Internet Archive Wayback Machine has saved much, but unfortunately not all, at https://web.archive.org/web/20160309163454/http://briantimms.fr/contents.html

To Brian, very many thanks for everything!

If the main reason for the site no longer being online is the cost factor, then I'd be happy to get cyberica.net to host his site and domain name free of charge.
This way, even if he doesn't want to maintain the site any longer, a lasting record of the complete site would be available for the foreseeable future.

Cheers,

Robert dCZ, does your offer still stand? I am in contact with Brian Timms and he is keen to see his website revived - the files can be made available.
Best wishes

It would be fantastic if his site was up and running again, it is thanks to his site and earlyblazon.com that I created wappenwiki in the first place. :)

Hello Andrew,
Please ask him to contact me at cyberfro...@gmail.com with his requirements. I'll see if cyberica can accommodate him, and we take it from there. Free of charge of course.

Cheers
Robert.
