Anyone pulled the barrel of an SU-16? I want to thread the muzzle
1/2x28 for standard M-16/AR-15 accessories. If anyone has any
suggestions, let me know.

I don't think you can pull the barrel, due to how it's mounted, but I
may be wrong. Ask over at www.ktog.org and www.ktrange.com.

No, but how do you like it?
I've been toying with replacing my M1 Carbine (Universal) with an SU-16.

I haven't done it, but am interested for the same reason, although I'm
not ready right now to do it. Another poster, and a poster on on
ktog.org said that it could not be done, but I don't believe that. From
the parts diagram it looks possible. Also I have a hard time believing
they would design a rifle with a non-replacable barrel.

You should just go a head and call Kel-tec. I spoke to them about a
problem I had reassembling the trigger group and they were very
helpful, in spite of the fact the the trigger group was not designed to
be dissassembled by the joe user. They seem to be nice folks over
there, so give them a call. And please report back any info you get!

So far I'm impressed. The constructions shows some very clever design.
Haven't shot it yet, but I'll post a review when I do. my main
complaint so far is the cheap plastic sights, with a very poor
adjustment mechanism. First thing I did was remove them and put a red
dot on. The newer SU-16B has aluminum sights which is probably a great
improvement.

I've enjoyed shooting mine a lot, but haven't really put it through
it's paces yet.

I looked at the SU-16B at a gun show this weekend, and the new sights
are much better than the old ones, with a much improved sight picture.
The rear sight is clamped now, and was just a friction fit before.

I put a little C-more 4x scope on mine and filed off a bit of the rear
sight so it'll fit under it on the rail. The front sight stays in
place and is just a blur in the scope - I don't even notice it. This
way, I've got backup sights if I need them. I also just got a couple
of Ultradot sights, and will be trying one of them on my SU-16 as
well.

I'm using a Trijicon Reflex II w/ 12.6 MOA triangle. I like it a lot,
the only problem is that it costs almost as much as the gun.
