Don't post crap like this...
It does NOT allow you to fire full-auto. It works like a ratchet, giving
so many pulls of your trigger for every pull of the device. It in no way
modifies your action.
There are those out there that would see this and contribute to gunshop
gossip, innuendo, and misinformation.
Thanks.
#> The hellfire isn't even a ratchet device (I think you have it confused
#> with another "full auto" add on chunk o' crap) It's a little lever and a
#> coil spring that attaches to the trigger guard and presses a lever against
#> the back of the trigger to help the trigger return forward faster. The
#> preferred method of use of a rifle with the hellfire is to hold the weapon
#> at an odd "shoot from the hip" position. You hold the rifle with your
#> left hand around the forearm of the weapon and insert your trigger finger
#> in the trigger guard, don't grip the rifle with the trigger hand. Now, you
#> pull the rifle foreward with the left hand until it fires. Maintain a
#> constant pull on the forearm of the rifle. What happens is that the rifle
#> fires, recoils, and you pull it forward againto fire it again. With the
#> hellfire in place this becomes somewhat of a full auto situation. If you
#> get just the right amount of tension, you get this jittery rapid sequence
#> of shots. As you can imagine, you can't hit a damn thing like this. It's
#> really just a wacky way of hearing your rifle burn up ammo really quickly.
#> Avoid garbage like this hellfire thingie at all costs.
You don't need a Hellfire, or any other hardware, to do this. I've seen it
done with AR's, AK's, and other semiautos. Useless, you're right, but a
heckuva lotta fun to watch (unless it's YOUR ammo that's getting wasted).
