I brought my Taurus .22 Mag revolver. Also an inexpensive airgun, the
P3. (also known as HW 40) I always bring an airgun along, to have
something to shoot after I run out of ammo and the other guys are
still shooting.
My groups at 25 yards with the airgun were much smaller than those at
15 yards with the .22. Or with the various 9mm's the other guys
had.
I like that little Taurus a lot. But my eyes have aged over the past
few years. I could not see the front sight clearly enough to shoot
accurately. My airgun has an inexpensive BSA reddot, and even in
bright sun I could see that perfectly.
Is there a way to put a reddot or reflex sight on that revolver? Or
is it time to trade it in on something better? In .22 I like
revolvers. I've had several semis over the years, including some well
liked Rugers, but all were finicky about ammo and cleanliness and I
never had one with the reliability of centerfire semis.
