Best scope mount for french MAS 49\56?

It seems like Burns Brothers makes a nice replica of the original
mount, McCann makes a nice looking mount also.

B Square and catco seem like Marginal quality.

Can I use a full size scope without the ejecting brass hitting my
scope??

KVAR has the "best" mount.

I tried on one of the 3x9x40 rubber armored scopes and it got thumped
by the ejecting brass.

I've got 4x28 SKS scope mounted there now and I don't think the brass
will hit it. I haven't had a chance to test it yet though.

Whats wrong with that original Lunette de Tir affair that fits in the
reciever grooves?
