At the risk of getting my butt flamed into submission, I'm here to
announce the opening of my website. It's called Auction Arms and it can
be found at:

It's an online auction website where you can register, post, and auction
of firearms and firearms accessories. Naturally, you can also buy
stuff. I was inspired to create Auction Arms after using eBay to buy a
Ruger. It occurred to me that I could create my own auction website
that specialized in things that go bang, and probably do a better job.
Posting an item is free of charge, and a seller is only charged if the
item bids above a price set by the seller. That fee is 3% of the final
bid price, but for the months of November and December any auctions that
are run will be for FREE. Call it my introductory period.

Anyway, please take a look at it and if you have any suggestions, I'd be
happy to here them. As with anything new, it's a work in progess so
thanks for you patience.

Wow. In the short time since I first posted this, a number of people have
registered at the site as Buyers. My only problem is that I also need Sellers.

So if you've got an old gun sitting around, or if you know someone who
has their own gun shop and needs to move a little excess inventory, send them
my way. I should also mention that all the services of Auction Arms are going
to be free for the next two months. But when we do start charging, it will
only
be 3% of the final bid price. So if the item doesn't sell, no charge for
anyone.
It's a pretty convenient way to sell your stuff. I should also mention that
when we do start charging for the service, we'll devote a percentage of our
profits to supporting groups like the NRA, ILA, even the JPFO. So your
support of Auction Arms not only supports the website, it also supports the
shooting community in general. Thanks again, for your patience.

I didn't register as a Seller because I didn't want to give out my
credit card information.
