Serial Number 967_ _ _
I have enjoyed everyones comments and have learned a lot about guns just
from reading your posts.
I have inherited a model 1934 Beretta manufactured in 1942. It does not
have the "RE" or "PS" stamp but does have the "F" stamp where you would see
the RE or PS stamp . You would think that F would mean Fire but the
location is behind the grip on the left side.
Additionally, it appears to be is nickel plated. How many of these guns were
produced with nickel plating? Do you know where I could get more
information on this pocket pistol? I have not been able to find out what the
"F" stamp means and am curious as to the "current" value of the gun. Any
help that you could provide is greatly appreciated.
Beretta and the web don't seem to have much information on this gun other
than it was the official Italian side arm. My gun doesn't have the military
markings.
Any help that you could provide would be great!!!
