Should psychiatrists be allowed to have guns?

Not to make light of the killings at Ft Hood today, but I just couldn't
resist throwing that question out there.

Maybe they'll find out the guy had a brain tumor, like the UT shooter in the
'60s, or maybe he had an agenda, or maybe both.

I think a better question is why don't military bases (of all places)
allow for CHL? An unarmed population makes for very easy targets.

Damn. When I first this happening I hoped it was just a simple sanity case
and not linked to any kind of ethnicity or religion. Put yourselves in the
place of any active duty member now that has an Arabic sounding name.
Unfortunately, a lot of them are going to take a lot of crap from the
ignorant people around them.

Something like the airline crap we have to go through.

It was by a foreign national working as a contractor. Joe got his medal
back and the ribbon - and got to D.C. for a meeting of CMH for the Honor
of new members. Joe has now passed.

I have nail clippers, pocket knives, and all sorts of stuff taken.
I no longer fly world wide being semi-retired.
