Has anyone shot a Cobray M11/9 semi carbine?
How accurate and reliable are they? Are they picky on ammo?

Put one in your hand and it will answer your question. They are not
accurate, are cheaply made, and not very quality. They are fine for
full-auto, but unless you are lucky enough to live in a class 3 state, you
are not able to have this. Save your money and get a Glock/HK pistol. They
also have hard recoil. They do have one thing going for them, a cool
paramilitary look. If you want to collect one, fine, but don't expect to be
popping 10 rings with it...

Good Luck,

Brad

I just picked up an M/11, and have only been to the range with it once.
The carbine is and the pistol are basically the same gun with different
barrels and a poor stock. The pistol seems fairly accurate, even though
the sights are totally useless. My pistol had numerous jams, primarily
because it failed to extract, or failed to extract with any force. On a
couple of occasions the empty case got stuck as the bolt returned to
battery and split the cases partially against the frame. Some of the
cases got slammed by the bolt and were pretty hard to get out. I tried
two different brands of ammo and found no difference (PMC, and USA
brands). I think a little work on the the extractor and I will have a
useable pistol. Its a fun gun to shoot otherwise, and the price is
right.

One usually doesn't use the terms "accurate" and "M11/9" in the same sentence.
They might be, but who knows? The sights are so bad, it's pretty hard to tell.

i think theyre junk. i bought one, loved it until i brought it to the range, i
couldnt get through more than 5 rounds with out a light hit on a primer, the
trigger beats the crap out of your finger for some reason. its a piece of junk
uf you ask me, the shoulder stock is a waste the designed it up side down, it
doesnt fit your shoulder. i traded mine back in about 2 weeks later. took a
beating on it but i couldnt have that piece of junk in my house. the only gun
ive ever regreated buying.
