Age of a S&W .38 special?

The gun in question:
Smith & Wesson .38 special, Model 15-1 according to the stamp inside the
cylinder hinge area. Serial number from butt (hidden under a pachmayr
"Presentation" grip) is K450xxx.

The 15-1 started in 1959 with a change to LH extractor rod thread
The 15-2 started in 1961 with the cylinder stop changed, and hole in
front of trigger guard eliminated
