I have a quantity of smokeless powder from Canadian Industries Limited
labelled "C-300 Shotshell Powder". Does anyone have any re-loading specs
for this stuff or what its equivalent is? I can't seem to find any mention
of it in any of my reloading manuals. I'm interested in using it for handgun
reloads (9mm, .38 special. .357 mag).

Thanks,

Hugh

Cette poudre doit être drôlement vieille, ça fait longtemps que CIL ne
vend plus au grand public.

Not seen that actual powder (believe its ICI in UK) but have used shotshell
powder (Shotgun 80) and after a number of test loads found that it is fast
powder (the same) as Bulleye or BA10, for my 38Spc / 357Mag loads, I have not
loaded it in 44Mag but have used some loaded by a friend with my cases &
primers and they shoot very well

So start with your reloading tables and work up from a gentle target load, DO
NOT use a volume (scoop) measure but weigh the powder
