What's the difference. I had a Pony years ago and loved it. A friend was
asking about the Mustang today and i thought they were the same gun? Am
i right

Not the same gun. Almost identical in size, and use the same magazine. The
Pony is a DAO with no safety (other than the ones between our ears). I've
owned both, and preferred the Mustang.

Pony's double action, Mustang is single action...

One is a single action, the other is double action.

What is your opinion on IJ Pony? Is it a gun worth having? I am especially
interested in reliability.

Hi Alex,

I am not qualified to discuss reliabililty in the IJ Pony.

If I were to set out to buy a reliable gun, I don't think I'd buy an Iver Johnson,
but that's just me.
I have never had one and cannot judge something I've never owned or shot, or for
that matter, had in the shop for repair.
