Something's happening in the primers world. Product arrival
notification messages from Midway for large pistol primers have been
hitting my box all day long. Federal, Remington, CCI APS.

Saw some CCI primers on the gunstore shelf today here in NW Nevada.

One of my gunshops got some cci 200s about a week ago. I bought 4
boxes but am finding that they don't shoot as well as the ones I
worked my loads up for. According to CCI's advertising' they have
changed them to be harder and to fit more snugly in primer pockets.
These new ones come in black boxes instead of the old blue and silver
boxes.

What I've seen a lot of here in central North Carolina at shows is
that you can't get ALL components needed to load a popular cartridge.
In other words, if the show had the brass, it didn't have the bullets
- or vice-versa.
There's still a real shortage.

One shop here is rationing and limits purchase to one box of 1,000.
Heard they have good supply.
Other shop had only magnum small pistol and charged about 20% more. I
know where I'll take my future business.

Yeah. It's the fault of all the hoarders. I hate them so much that
whenever I find any primers on the shelf I buy them all just to keep the
hoarders from getting them. LOL
