Anyone know if Amega Mounts is still in business? I have been trying to con
tact them by email and telephone without success. I have a Mini-Scout-Moun
t II that I bought used without a barrel clamp. I have an older Mini (Seria
l # 196-) that apparently this mount will not work on. I am trying to find
out if it is just the size of the barrel clamp that is different. I can hav
e a barrel clamp fabricated at a machine shop and the mount altered if I kn
ew what changes to make to the mount. Alternatively, if I can purchase the
correct barrel clamp, I can sell the mount to someone who can use it. Thank
s.

There's Amega Shooting Supplies here in Phoenix, AZ. I live just a few
miles away...

http://www.amegashootingsupplies.com

3170 W Carefree Hwy.,
Phoenix, Arizona 85086
Phone: 623.748.9011

I found a link from their main website (above) to Amega Mounts:

http://www.amegamounts.com/index.php

And.... (drum roll please), here's a link to the mini scout mount for a
ruger mini-14:

http://www.amegamounts.com/product_pages/rugerMini14.php

Check out the FAQ tab and barrel ID tabs on this page in particular.

But they have a different mailing address:

AMEGA RANGES, INC.
6355 Stinson Street #202
Plano, TX 75093
Phone: 623-748-9011

No e-mail that I could find, but there's a contact form at:

http://www.amegamounts.com/cfsp/contactus.php

I hope this helps.
