Blue Book of Gun Values, 19th Edition lists the Western Field175 as being
made by Mossberg. The Western Field 175 is the same model (minus some
cosmetics) as the Mossberg 385K. I would assume the 175B is a more recent
variant.
The Mossberg Model 385 and its variants was made from 1960-1986. Try writing
Mossberg with the model and serial number of the shotgun.
Good luck.
#I have an old Westernfield Model M175B 20 gauge bolt-action shotgun,
#chambered for both 2 3/4" and 3" shells.
Its a Mossberg. I believe the M385.

I would recommend that you find a "Blue Book of Gun Values" at your next
local gun show and look them up...I'm unable to find mine right now.
