Sounds cheap, unfriendly to environment, and more importantly does it work?
I have one forsythia that just won't die. I pruned off even with the
ground, and it has never looked so good as it does this year! I don't have
room to hook to chain and tractor and pull up by roots. I've taken a
maddock to roots, but again to no avail. Help please.

Roundup would be the best if you want to grow anything else there. Salt and
deisel fuel (kerosene) will poison the ground and kill it. Or you could just
give it to someone who realizes how pretty they are.
