Sunshine, 60 degrees, what a good day to have dirt under your fingernails.
Getting ready for winter, planted the last of my bulbs today. Was fretting
and fussing waiting for the Van Englens order. Ordered from them for the
first time this year after reading them recommended on this group, was well
worth the wait. Going to second the recommendation! Beautiful bulbs!

LOL! Can't do the sports analogy very well was bragging about the amaryllis
being softball size, and was told that they're only 1 1/4 baseball size. But
I accidentally dug up some 2 year old muscari from Van Dykes while I was
planting the new muscari, and they were the same size.

Of my limited order the Regale trumpet lilies were also gigantic. My vow for
next fall, since they only sell in rather large lots, I'm going to find
someone else local to split orders with me.

Glad you were pleased . I have ordered thousands of bulbs from both Sheepers/Van
Engelen [no relation] and Dutch bulbs - beats local shops. Randy

This time of year they begin to sell off their surplus. Call them and have them
fax you their half price list-some good bargains to be had
860-567-8734
I don't work for them I just buy their bulbs.
