Does anyone have any information about a sweet potato vine that is
deep purple in color and grown for ornamental leaves only (not the
potato)? I saw pictures of it in a magazine and would like to grow it
in a container garden. I think the botanical name is 'Ipomoea batatas'.

Does anyone know of a source for it?

Thanks,

I saw it at Home Depot, called Sweet Potato "Blacky" (or "Blackie,"
maybe). A really cool-looking plant. I read that people have grown it
in large pots cascading down - it's not a climber.
