Will Cypress mulch attract termites?

My neighbor's home was recently treated for a termite
infestation. I have a planting bed which runs along
the side of my house nearest to this neighbor. This bed
has been mulched with shredded hardwood for several years,
but I worry about attracting a large number of termites
to my home's foundation.

I know Cypress trees have some resistance to insect infestation;
would it safe to use Cypress mulch against my foundation instead
of hardwood mulch?
Any advice would be appreciated.
