Help wanted for Singaporean

To the plants lovers,

I have recently bought two pots of ferns from IKEA(Singapore) but both
didn’t seems to be doing well at all. Is it because I left them in the
house whole day long and not let them absorb any morning dew? The leaves
are all dried

I would like to have some other indoor plants in my house(that requires
minimal maintenance) and hope to hear some suggestions from the experts
out there.
