The general rec.gardens opinion seems to be that GA products are worth it
(especially if you get and use the coupon on the catalog wrapper!). I've
got a box full of stuff sitting on the dining table waiting for the world
to unthaw - yep, even here in Zone 8 it's frozen :)

Their Roots Plus solution is great - much more convenient than brewing
your own manure tea (especially if you only need a little), and wonderful
for starting cuttings! I've tried several of their biological controls;
the mosquito dunks work wonders (and this is Texas, where you *notice*
when the blood-sucker population drops). The slug saloon produced drunk
slugs which had to be hand-picked and stomped, but I don't blame them;
it's just a faulty design (at least for our neck of the woods).
But for an organic gardener, they are a delight. I don't think I've seen
that many different biological controls and other Neat Organic Stuff in
one place before.
I think I had problems with an order all of once, and they solved the
problem quite promptly.
Buy with confidence in their quality and service.

I order from Gardens Alive, and maintain a membership in the Stay
Organic Club ($9.95 a year for a 10% discount on everything. I order
enough to make it worthwhile.) They carry lots of good products. I just
got some Bulbs Alive for my bulbs, which are having a hard time here in
Florida with freezing temperatures followed by temps in the upper 70s.
It's enough to confuse any poor plant! It's got my dwarf irises blooming
just lovely.
I also fed Vegetables alive to my veggie crops -- collards, broccoli,
lettuce, Chinese cabbage, etc., and Root Crops Alive to my root crops.
They're happy-looking, too.
They have many different products for organic gardeners, from row
covers to BT and beneficial insects. I'm very happy with them.
