I am looking to grow more tender plants on this side of the 'Big Pond' and
would like to get copies of a variety of quality gardening magazines. Can
you kind people recommend some titles (with brief descriptions if possible)
and details of how to order same. Thank you.

Regards,

One of my favorites is HORTICULTURE http:\\www.hortmag.com . This is a
general interest gardening magazine with very little fluff and content
produced by some world renown garden writers. Many of the more tender
plants grown in North America are grown by gardeners on the West
coast. An excellent magazine dedicated to this region is PACIFIC
HORTICULTURE http:\\www.pacifichorticulture.org

Others have recommended Garden Gate magazine, I couldn't agree more. Great
reading, consistent high quality.

Fine Gardening by Taunton Press http://www.taunton.com/fg/index.htm
is my favorite, and, as Dennis mentioned, Horticulture is a standard
around here (I'm in the Boston area).
