Instead of buying me cut roses that would wilt, several months ago my
girlfriend bought me a minature rose. The brand is Mini Brite Roses, and
the variety is Charming Parade Pot Rose. There is not scientific name.

It looked very healthy when she brought it home, and it was a gorgeous
little plant. I loved it. Then the leaves started to turn yellow and
die. It happened slowly, and I started to clip off branches when all the
leaves had died. It has gone through several cycles where new growth
started where I had pruned, but then then that growth would die also.

Finally I cut all the growth back to about two inches from the soil. I
moved the plant to a place where it gets lots of light, and I started
watering it less. One stem is now going gangbusters, but the second stem
that also put out new growth is now dying again. I am at a loss.

JOSH -
I would post this question to the newsgroup: rec.gardens.roses
They have alot of miniature experts there who would be able to give you
excellent advice.
Just as a guess, a few of the things that could be wrong with your rose
are, pot is too small, not enough fertilizer, not enough sun (at least 6
hours of sun a day is necessary), not enough water, the rose could be
virused, or you are keeping the rose indoors.
