Over the last few years I have had to use "Seven" continually during the
Japanese Beetle season. Is there any good preventatives (natural and/or
chemical)?

I've heard placing a trap in an unsuspecting neighbor's yard works like
a charm ;)

Well, the FIRST thing you do is get all of your neighbors to set up traps in their yards
-- this means that the beetles will migrate out of YOURS. [;> There are times when I
am truly EVIL.]

Second, a good treatment with diazanon in the early fall and late spring will kill off
all the grubs before they emerge -- unfortunately killing off all the beneficials at the
same time.

The two long-term solutions are 1) moles -- which LOVE beetle grubs, but destroy your
lawn; 2) treatment of your yard with microlife that targets the beetle grubs.

Check out an earlier thread (Re; Japanese Beetles) - all that you want to
know is on there! This thread is still currently on the group.

Sorry, somehow I missed the original. Would someone please email it
to me? I don't seem to be able to locate it. Thanks so much!
