We live on a bit of a drop lot----the street is 10 yards lower than
the front door AND the left side of the yard is about 5 feet lower
than the right side of the yard.
ONE and only one of the irrigation zones has, I guess, a leak that
does not allow that zone to completely shut off. It does not drip per
se, it works well, but it is as if that zone is always on......like a
slow drip on a faucet. You do NOT see water coming out, except the
grass around the head is always moist. It works well BUT, after it is
shut off, that single sprinkler head is always moist. It happens to
be at the top left....so it is ABOVE the main switch box which is down
by the house but it is LOWER than 2 additional head that are down by
the house on that zone.
I hope this description was clear.
QUESTION----Does his sound just like a washer that needs to be
replaced????? Do the main boxes have "washers"??? I would expect if
that were the case, the LOWEST head on that circuit would drip, which
would be the one down by the house.
Thoughts.
