On the subject of TG16 vs Genesis:
personally, i'd like to have both, but...
i put my money down for the TG16 after seeing a similar list to this at a
local store. I don't gravitate towards the Sega arcade games too much.
They all seem gimiky and not that much fun to play except for the fact
that your seat moves. I bought Outrun, Afterburner, and Thunderblade for
the Sega master and Outrun was the only one I found remotely amusing. The
others just aren't that much fun to play...and they are VERY repetitive.
I actually think the Genesis hardware is a little better, BUT, software
makes the system!!! That's why nintendo is such a huge success and the
master system crashed. It seems like NEC is going for the more nintendo-esque
games while sega is staying sega, only with better graphics. That's why
I bought the NEC. If you like the Sega games better, then go buy the
Genesis, it's a great box, and the games I've seen, especially Ghouls &
Ghosts look great. If you like the more fun, slightly less macho-dazed games
then I would suggest the NEC. Also the NEC has the advantage of the
PC Engine's customer base in Japan.

That's enough babbling...just remember buy a machine for the software...
not the machine!!!
