Anyone Played Uncensored Snatcher SEGACD?

Tried it, got to the part where Lisa Nilsen (female Snatcher) was killed and
it was the same. (Japanese version has some nudity) So I figured itll probably
just be the dog, so I said forget it.

Just to confirm, there is no nudity even in the uncensored mode. Actually
it's funny because when I first got the game last year I put in Konami in
the Junker computer just to see what would happen. I didn't know it
uncensored the game and when I got to the part with the dog I figured they
just decided to leave the guts in.

nothing to add, really, i'd just like to concur.
i'm almost 100% positive i saw doggie guts and i didn't type konami into the
computer in all likelihood. :) nice how i'm not 100% of my own life. :)
anyway. nice game...and i want policenauts.

That's the way they programmed it. In the original Japanese version the
dog had just been kiiled, and you could see it twitching. In the US
version (and without the Konami code) the text is changed to say that the
dog was killed 10 minutes earlier, and the dog isn't twitching.
No idea what the Konami code does though, if anything.

Before I got the game, I read in DHGF that the game was editted, and that
the dog guts were removed. When I bought the game and reached that point
a week later, the dog guts were intact. This was shortly after the games
release, more than a few months ago, without the Konami code. Did I just
get an odd copy, or was the change just to stop the dog from twitching in
that scene?

Now see, that's the part I'm not quite sure of. When looking the a back
issue of DHGF, they show a pic of Alice with only scratches on her
stomach. I, personally, can't remember if it was that or not.
Maybe you had put in the name w/o thinking much about it?

No, I don't think so. I just entered the KONAMI code last night, and
then killed the female SNATCHER. NO nudity. How disappointing...
