EB still tells me that Lunar 2 is coming out mid October. In fact,
they say that anything for a Sega system is not coming out untill at
least mid October but there should be more PSX games coming out
sooner. Strange...

That's quite odd, considering that people have been asking for help in the
game for the past week. Sounds like EB employees in your area are either
ignorant, or just intent on Sega bashing. (The EB in Masena NY has LUNAR2
too.)

I have had the game for a week now also. Got it at Babbages. The EB
in the same mall still does not have it and is sticking by there
October date (just got back from there). They also admitted that both
workers there have been pushing the PSX and discouraging people from
getting the Saturn. Its just not fair...

Cyber Speedway is scheduled to arrive at the store I work at
(Waldensoftware in Madison) tomorrow morning. Price will be $69.99
(ouch!). Anyway, when we actually get it in, I'll post a mini-review
(assuming that it hasnt' been reviewed to death by that point)

Yep, I picked a copy up today. I won't get to try it out till I get home
tonight.
I picked my copy up at EB so I could sell back about 8 old Genesis games I
never play anymore to help buffer that $69.99 price tag, ouch!
I did notice that Shanghai was out also and priced at $29.99. Heck, for
that price I might even pick that game up also.

on my PSX it was a real let-down. I can't believe that Sid Mead would
have been involved with something so crappy (IMO).
The screen is extremely low resolution which makes the track utterly
unreadable until you're right up on a turn. As for speed, well, it's pretty
fast but Daytona would be the much better racer of the two. It's a real
shame, because I know my Saturn is capable of much more.
Even the audio stunk. All of the voices feature crackles and poor
sampling artifacts. Rent it and if you like it, buy it. I'm still trying
to figure a good excuse (besides "it sux") to return mine to EB.

EB likes to screw people when they get the chance. In one place here in
town, Chrono Trigger for SNES was $69.95 at the EB, across town at
another EB, it was $84.99! I think EB should have one uniform price
instead of price gouging in places that they know they're the only game
in that part of town. I don't know about you, but I don't mind spending a
extra buck in gas to save $15. EB here is selling Cyber Speedway for
$67.99 when Software Etc. that is in the same mall, is selling for $49.99
