(Crossposted to three groups because Truxton is a classic vertical scrolling
shooter for the Sega Genesis.)

If one uses the Sega Genesis Twin Cobra Game Genie code for Start At Level 2
(SANA-BJZY) with the Sega Genesis Truxton game cartridge, the following
behaviors will occur:

1. Starting the game using the code will jump right to the Round 1 ending
shortly after starting the game.

2. Leaving the Game Genie on at this point will continue to play endings
shortly after the game restarts at the next round, up to the 5th and last
ending where Game Over is finally displayed. (These endings will also replay
during the demo mode if the Game Genie continues to remain on.)

3. Turning the Game Genie off during an ending will resume a complete game
starting at the next round. (So turning off the Game Genie during the Round
1 ending will resume the game starting at Round 2, turning the Game Genie
off after the Round 2 ending will resume the game starting at Round 3, and
so on.)

4. Turning the Game Genie back on during gameplay seems to jump directly to
the ending for that round that is currently being played.

Noteworthy is the fact that Round 2 uses faster and more complex patterns
closely resembling the actual arcade Truxton. Higher rounds past Round 2 are
extremely fast and difficult. That effectively means that as difficult as
Round 1 may be (especially Round 1 stages 4 and 5), those patterns are
actually slower and simplified from the arcade difficulty for all stages in
Round 1.

So for those who want to view the Truxton endings, or start a Truxton game
at a higher round closer to or even beyond arcade difficulty, remember the
Game Genie code: SANA-BJZY.
