NBA Jam TE (Saturn) Mini-Review

Okay I bought this game yesterday for $46.99 at Best Buy, what a great
deal! My initial impressions are very positive, I never played the PSX
version so I can't compare but I'm sure both versions are fairly similar.
Graphics: A
No problems here, everything looks just like the arcade. Very impressively
done by Acclaim (first time I've used impressive and Acclaim in 1
sentence!)
Sounds: A-
As far as I can tell, I have heard every sound that I have ever heard in the
arcade on the Saturn. It gets a A- because the announcer sounds a
little different, but you quickly get used to it and don't notice.
Control: A
The A is my first impression when comparing to the arcade. Things
respond very well.
Gameplay: A+
This is NBA Jam, the defination of a 2-4 player game!! Even in 1 player
mode it's a blast!!
Overall: A
This is the first game that I've really liked on my Saturn (I've played
VF, WSB, Shinobi, Soccer, CKNight). If you like the arcade version, you'll
love this game!!

Have you seen the bill boards rotate? I didn't.

Where is WOOOOO JAMS it in? Have you heard that it's in the Arcarde.

You've made some good points but I guess I wasn't really comparing this
game to the arcade since I don't remember the arcade version too much. I
just evaluated as if it was a original game and concentrated on the fun
factor. If you're looking for a fun 2-4 player game, this is it! It
also plays well with very good difficulty settings in 1 player tournament
mode.
