I dunno. But a) you'd think he'd have trouble finding them, just like
everyone else, and b) I wouldn't think programming them would be that
easy. I mean, developers , with full developer kits and access to Sony
support are having trouble.

He should try buying lots of Dreamcasts. Sure, they're not as powerful
as PS2s, but they're not bad. And they're much easier to program,
either with WinCE, or other methods

He was actually in line on launch night at Best Buy in Pinole California, He

That story sounds so much like a marketing tool from Sony. Half the
crap is bull ! Iraq doesn't care about sanctions if they really wanted
computers they could get them. Why would you buy a bunch of PS2's to
run remote controlled piloted military aircraft ? Seems like alot of
unnecessary programming and hardware modifications.
