I live in the state of Delaware(a tiny state on the east coast) and it
reached stores here on Friday. Did not buy it though, I have to go see it
first. Would like to hear some reviews.

Bottom line - Worth buying if you REALLY like platforms games. Otherwise wait
for a sale or something. Retail price is $69.99 I believe. Or that's what
Software Etc sells it for. An enhanced SONIC.
Mini Review
There are 5 characters to choose from. Knuckles, Vector the Crocodile, Mighty
the Armadillo, Charmy Bee and Espio the Chameleon. Each has different
abilities, I haven't tried them all to see how they all look, but they are
explained in the manual.
Anyway, like Sonic and Tails, you choose your character and I think
get a random drawn companion. Cool part - the bungee cord that connects you.
Can be used to help increase speed or pull up to the next level. You'll need
time to get used to it. Also a draw back as you will be held up by slower
companions.
Gameplay-like Sonic with a few twists. Sooe Some minor or major
differences. 1. Bungee cord setup explained earlier. 2. Enlarged character
- increases speed and jumping height. 3. Also item to SHRINK character
(haven't found yet).
Special stages- 3D tunnel to collect spheres for chaos emerald like
that of in Sonic 2? but in a tube with pitfalls and traps. Another: seemed
like a FREEFALL stage - cant tell you too much, seemed like fun for the few
seconds I lasted there.
Graphics - superb. Though, SONIC and its sequels had great graphics.
Characters even look good when enlarged.
Sound/Music - OK. Same as SONIC to me. I should say Sonicesque.
Of course, these are my initial impressions and opinions. Most of it could of
been done on the regular Genesis, except when you get enlarged. Though, I
havent seen the bosses yet, they're suppose to be BIG. Oh yeah, levels are
decided by SLOTS, or sort of. Choices spin about, hit a bumper and after a
little while, it will stop on your level. So, hope this helped a bit.
