'If you wanted to get somewhere and it took you a long time to get there,
would you want to rush back here? I didn't think so.'
I bought it yesterday at Electronics Boutique($53). The game is one of
the few that actually lives up to the hype. I love the dogfights with the
other wizards over a horde of mana; alternating between fireballs and
posession spells. The graphics are great, the music's fantastic, and
it's got 70 worlds with 24 spells to learn. I'm still getting used to
flying the carpet, though. (You can go up, down, bank left, bank right,
and of course forward and backwards. No rails, total freedom of movement)
But they let you remap the whole controller so I'm sure I'll find one I
can work with.
The game is a must buy. I haven't played the computer version, but I can
see why it won all those awards.
