Marvel vs. Capcom 2 --> 110 hit combo!!!!!!

I accomplished 110 hit combo with morriagan, ryu, a kid form vampire
savior( the one with an apple ) super combo. It's kinda cool. The biggest
combo counter was 99 hit combo in Samurai Showdown 4 for Neo Geo.I can't
believe M vs C 2 broke that! Actually,I had to work so had to accomplish
99 hit combo in ss4, i was so damn happy. as for m vs. c 2, i feel less
satisfaction. I feel like I didn't work on it at all. :(

I have to ask... Double Proton Cannon? :) Time to dig out the Saturn
and play X-Men COTA and Marvel Super Heroes.. oh Yeah and MvC1 on
DC... Until I buy MvC2 :) the game is ALWAYS sold out. I'm on a
waiting list.

I call the team of Iron Man, Cable, and War Machine the Firing Squad.
Whip the THC out when you're facing two characters with half life
left, while they're doing an assist and you'll see what I mean (170
hit combe anyone?)

I cheesed through the whole game with that team and I got a score in
the 2.2 trillion (?!) range, barely beating out my Cable, Ryu, and
Silver Samurai's (sp?) 2.1.

MvC2 rocks!

Cables Hyper Viper Beam by itself will do about 98 hits on Abyss.
The versus series is fun because it has complete craziness, but
I still like the regular style fighers as well.

I don't like realistic games, and I really don't like the UFC demo
at all. It is too boring and normal for me. This is coming from
a huge Urusei Yatsura, Slayers, Evangelion, Nuku Nuku fan so take
that for what you may. I like stuff that is random, real life is
okay but I don't want to play a game based on something I can do
in real life. Well unless they made a certain kind of simulation game
(nudge, nudge, wink, wink). :)
By regular fighting games I meant where you don't do
a combo with one button or one super or whatever. Not realistic fighting.

I was lucky enough to get a 127 hit combo. I had Cable, Cyclops, and I
think Wolverine.

I accomplished 113 hits using T. Bonne (a screenful of servbots!), Baby
Bonnie Hood (all those bullets) and Gambit (guaranteed 37 hits). I imagine
replacing Gambit with someone like War Machine, Cyclops, or Iron Man would
yield even more hits.

I thought there were people out there who were able to score
several hundred hits on their opponents... I could have sworn I
saw a picture of the game somewhere (on fighters.net?) with a
message on the top left hand corner reading "538 HIT COMBO!".
Speaking of insane combos, Anita's super in Marvel Super Heroes
was guaranteed to score 98 hits if the opponent was hit with the
first projectile! You'd just stand there for six seconds while
your enemy lost 75% of his life bar to Anita's flood of doll
heads. No wonder Capcom took her out of the US version of the
game! Fortunately, you can put her right back in it with a Game
Shark... >:D

Try Iron Man, War Machine and Iceman on Tron Bonne. I nailed her for 168
points. :) I was only able to do that once though and that was my highest.
My second highest was 128 with Ryu, that huge demon critter and Iceman.
