Hi,
With all the arcades out there, which one do you consider the best in
Las Vegas? The gameworks there is huge w/ big screen games and the sofas
as well as loud music everywhere. But I consider the arcade at luxor to be
great because the games are cheap to play and has the some newer games as
well as the classics. Crazy Taxi at 50 cents, Virtual On 1, Sega GT.

What do you think?

I kick ass at video poker :).

Arcades are more fun though. :)

Well, off the top of my head I would have said Gameworks, but, now that I
think about it, I really liked the aracades in Treasure Island when I was
there in 1995, I liked the one in the Ceaser's Palace Forum Shops when I was
there in 1998, and I liked the one at the Riveria in 1998 and 1999. At the
Riveria it took me 2 hours to go through $5. That's pretty good considering
I went through $40 in 15 minutes playing black jack. Damn dealer didn't even
let me engrave my initials in the table either!! =D

I'll have to check out the Luxor arcade when I go there later this year.
Thanks for the tip!

(snip)

All of the hotel arcades suck now. I went there for New Years and was
thoroughly dissapointed. The best arcade in Vegas is Mary K's. A litlle
place way off the strip by some Korean restaraunt.

I take it you're under 21, since you talk about arcades in Vegas!! The fun
of gambling is head and shoulders ahead of arcades, IMO. No, I'm not
addicted. It's just fun.

I haven't been to Vegas in a while (before MGM Grand caught fire). There was
no GameWorks.

The problem with arcades in Vegas is that they're full of kids. Dad & mom go
gambling and little Johnny plays arcades.

Anyway, the MGM had a big arcade, the biggest I've seen at Vegas back then.
But I'm very confident you'll be better served at GameWorks. It's the
biggest GameWorks of them all.
