Data East Announces Major Sports Alliance with
BlueSky Software

May 25, 1995(San Jose, CA)( Data East USA is pleased to announce a
multi-product agreement with leading sports game developer, BlueSky
Software. The alliance will establish Data East's commitment to the sports
category for the new 32-bit platforms, with baseball and football releases
scheduled over the next few years for the Sony Playstation and Sega
Saturn.

BlueSky Software has developed a reputation as one of the top sports game
developers in the industry with a string of top-five titles for the Sega
Genesis over the past three years including: World Series Baseball,
College Football's National Championship, and NFL Sports Talk Football
'94.

BlueSky's sports titles have consistently garnered high praise and awards
from the game industry press. Die Hard Game Fan, in their review of
College Football's National Championship, stated, "If you're looking for a
good college football game, look no further. With an outstanding play
book, great graphics and sound, season play with stats, and tremendous
play mechanics, you can't find a better college game unless you enroll."
World Series Baseball received several best sports game of the year awards
and it's sequel, World Series '95 is acknowledged as the high water mark
at which competitors must shoot. According to VideoGames Magazine, " World
Series Baseball remains the ultimate in cartridge baseball...."

BlueSky Software was founded in 1988 and during the past couple of years
has produced some of Sega of America's biggest selling Genesis titles
including: Jurassic Park, Looney Tunes: Desert Demolition, Shadowrun and
the aforementioned sports games. BlueSky Software is a California
corporation based in San Diego.

Data East USA is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Data East Corporation of
Tokyo, Japan, that has over 16 years experience in the US video game
business. The company is a multi-
million dollar supplier of coin-operated video games redemption games, and
a third-party licensee for Nintendo, Sega, Sony, and 3DO. Releases from
Data East include classic
arcade titles such as: Karate Champ, Robocop, Karnov, Bad Dudes, and
BurgerTime and consumer hits like: the Joe & Mac series, the Side Pocket
