Don't know whether this is old news or not, but UK/Euro
folk might like to know that Sega of Europe have no
plans to ship VF Remix free of charge to registered
customers.

Oh Bugger :-(

They did say it would be out "sometime in October"
though.

Ah well, something to look forward to after Oktoberfest...

Yep, I got a e-mail from SegaOE saying that they cannot offer it for free due to costs of
the conversion to PAL. But it will be sold for a reduced price with "lots of goodies" - to
quote. Quite what the goodies are remains to be seen.

They also mentioned that Panzer Dragoon will be released on Aug. 18th, Pebble
Beach Golf on Aug. 25th. Bug and a few more will be with us in September and 3rd
party games "should" start appearing soon after.

"50 Games by Xmas" is what the official line is.

The person(s) who deal with the e-mail at SegaOE Hq are quite good, I have always
had a reply after about a week. The e-mail address is:

SEGA SATURN INTERNET POSTBOX <SEGAS...@soehq.sega.co.uk>

Let me know if you can weedle more info out of them.

I still think this a bit out of order, considering that UK buyers pay well
over the odds for the system in the first place.Sega should offer it to
all the people who've bought it so far for something like 5.00. It needn't
be nicely packaged or anything and this would easily recover the cost of
converting to PAL(if there is really much of a cost)If enough people kick
up a fuss about it maybe they may think again.I'll e-mail them this idea and
I suggest everyone else does something similar.

I guess the UK gaming press will hammer them for this :-)

nip it in the bud sega.....!!!

(Intel & Pentium spring to mind)

If they looked after us early users..... just think of all the good
press they would receive...... and word of mouth about those nice
people at sega......

we can but hope.......

I'm hoping that they'll include the VF3 screenshots on CD that owners
in Japan have been receiving and I hope there is a really low price
also, otherwise my money goes on something else - like Tekken.
