Latest Info on Earthworm Jim with answers to many questions...

Earthworm Jim is scheduled to be on the shelves on October 27th 1994.
(Mid November in Europe & Japan)

The SNES version was not delayed. SNES and Genesis versions will
be available on the same day. Gameboy & Gamegear versions are
looking superb and will be available shortly after Christmas.

The Genesis version has an additional level and yes the SNES has the
solar flare and some improved graphics. We've heard from people who
like each version better than the other.

As far as reviews go, pick up any of the major game magazines and you'll
see in-depth reviews, awards, posters and strategy guides. Throughout the
world E.W.J. is getting more magazine front covers & more television air time
than any other game. (In France alone David Perry was on five television
programs in two days.) The first review in America - GAMEFAN gave 100%
to the Sega version and 99% to the SNES version.

The game is difficult, it is quick to get going but due to the larger
24 Megabit cart will take a long time to complete. Reading the strategy
guides is the answer if you just can't hack it or are in a hurry.

The game has a very very special ending. If you make it WELL DONE!,
however please keep it to yourself as we want everyone to enjoy it as much.
(It's the first part that we designed!)

Pirates! - The version you are playing is not the final one as many pirate
boards are pretending. (All versions are fingerprinted - We have checked!)
The final version has more hidden levels, more funny animations and more
sound effects.

That's something I'd like to see more of too. First Working Designs, and
now Shiny.
If we're lucky, a trend might be starting here.
