Let me save the rest of you the trip...and the money.
Bugs Bugs Bugs!!!
10 minutes into my first game, the screen locked up when I ran out of
bounds.
The gameplay is sooooooo slow it's ridiculous.
The passing game is as frustrating as it was last year.
There are fewer plays to choose from on offense.
But that's not a problem because you can always do the "invincible
Fullback Draw" all the way up the field.
Check out the "Free Agent Pool." It's "so free" that 4/5ths of the free
agent Offensive Linemen are actually Running Backs. . .e.g. Robert
Delpino, Barry Word, John Stephens, etc. These Sega guys know nothing
about football!
So then I traded Jerry Rice to the Atlanta Falcons, so now instead of
assigning him a new number (like in NHL '95), I now have two number 80's
on the field at the same time.
And for Stat fans like myself . . . you'll be happy to know that the stat
tracking Sucks. Over a season it tracks 1 QB stat (yards), 1 running
stat (yards), and 1 receiving stat (guess...yards!). No completions, no
attempts, no receptions, no fumbles, no interceptions thrown, no
carries...no nothing.
Question: Does anybody know how to put shrink-wrap back on the box?
God I wish I'd waited for Madden.

GameFan you are definitely right about this game. This game blows more
than a prostitute in a whorehouse(I personally wouldn't know so don't
hold me to it). I didn't think it was possible for a game to take a step
back(and we're talking BIG step back). The control is sluggish, stat
keeping is terrible, pass plays are pathetic and the computer AI is still
pretty weak. Graphically, NFL'94 was way better than this crap that Sega
sports put out. Avoid this game at all costs, the Sega college football
game is much better than this. Sega, you can do much better than this,
what happened? I can't wait until Madden comes out, I'm glad I rented
this first.
