Saturn Fan magazine gave it a higher score than either Vampire
Savior or Sakura Taisen 2.

If you dig strategy games or giant robots.

I don't think so, except for the addition of some new robots.
DFS.
Well, Saturn Fan gave it 3 10's (which is the highest I've seen
yet). There are a bunch of new robots and levels. The newest Saturn
Fan has 61 pages dedicated to the game. Yup, 61 pages. I remember
GameFan getting excited about 8 pages.
If they could lower the loading times down considerably, I would consider
it. The first one has extremely poor times, and caused the battles
to last damn near forever.

It's definitly worth buying if you're a huge SRW fan. As for
improvements, there are slight changes on the details of some of the
robots, (BTW, the bersek sequence of EVA is re-done very nicely).
Gameplay remains the same. IMO, difficultly has gone up slightly due to
the increase amount of HP enermies are having.
If you are the type of people that expected huge improvements such as
increase animation during battles *blah blah blah* that all those people
were complaining about than you should just forget that you even heard
about the title. ^_^

Hmm.. the loading time is not a problem to me. It is not as fast as
Super Famicom version (what do?) but it is faster than any other cd
based SRW games out there. You haven't seen loading time if you
haven't played Neo Super Robot Wars for PSX. The time it takes from
the map screen to attack screen can be as long as 5 seconds, and
that's back and forth. I think it takes me longer waiting for the load
times than playing the game itself. In comparison, the 1 second
loading time for SRWF is instantaneous.
