Where do you people buy your CR2032 batteries? Many people say: "Go walk
into any store and get them for about $2". I've heard other people getting
these batteries for $1 apiece. But everywhere I go, they're almost $4
apiece. spending $7-8 per VMU every few months really does not seem
appealing to me...
Are there places you can buy CR2032's online?
Are there any specific chains in which you found these "inexpensive"
batteries?
Btw, the only two stores I checked were Radio Shack and Longs Drugs. Both
were above $3.

K-Mart, Wal-Mart, student bookstore... Hasn't run be over $2 yet.
I'd check stores like Target, K-Mart, Best Buy, etc. I think I bought mine
at Target,
and I don't remember them being too expensive. If you want to buy online,
try
http://www.batterywholesale.com/ they've got a 10 pack for $10.50 I've
never dealt with them so I cant say if they're reliable.

Spending _any_ money per VMU every couple of months doesn't appeal to
me. I'd suggest just removing the battery, and when that urge to pilot
Falcon's plane comes along, go ahead and pop in the battery. It takes
all of 15 seconds to change, and this will surely prolong your batteries
usage (by how much, I dunno). Since batteries aren't required for the
VMU's controller functions, this seems acceptable since I doubt many
play their VMUs much (especially with the battery drain problem).

I find Radio Shack and other smallish and specialty stores tend to be
more expensive when similar/equal parts are available at large discount
stores. Try a Wal-Mart or Big K or similar K variant. There's no Target
or Best Buys near me, but I'd assume those prices would be similar.

I got mine off of eBay - there's a battery wholesaler who sells the
CR2032s for like $.30 each.
Let's see:
http://cgi6.ebay.com/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewListedItems&userid=ptron1
There he is. I've bought 10 from him, and aside from a pretty
obnoxious shipping fee ($3 or so), it's still a good bargain.
(Not _really_ advertising - I'm sure there're other jabronies selling
CR2032s on eBay, but this guy I've dealt with.)
The funny thing is, the batteries are sony brand batteries, yet I'm
using them to power my Sega VMUs and my sega saturn... kind of
ironic...

I guess like Crazy Taxi where all the music is licensed from Sony

Heh - I don't have crazy taxi (yet), but I also noticed that Captain
Super Pop's song in Popn3 was licensed from Sony...

PartsExpress.com has the CR2032 for $1.25 a piece, or $1.15
a piece in quantities of ten or more. The only downside?
They've got a $20 minimum order requirement.
There's a dude on eBay selling lots of 10, 20, or 30 batteries.

Violence works, and it works well. It's pretty good entertainment too.
I thought the crime Timothy McVeigh pulled off in the
Oklahoma City bombing was both innovative, and creative.
