I was wondering if anyone out there knew what the word SEGA meant? Does
it stand for something? Is it Japanese? Or, is it completely made up
(like the word KODAK)? Anyone?

It's the little things I think of when I'm Bored.

SEGA is short for "SErvice" and "GAmes". Can't say much more beyond that,
though.

Poom!

SEGA stands for SErvice GAmes, and american company that made vending
game machines like pinball in the 1960s and 1970s.

So, the name means pretty much nothing.

Take care,
Jim

In Italian, I'm told it means "to masturbate".

And no I'm not a Sony of Nintendo fan. Sega all the way...
