Felicia - Almost as good as in Darkstalkers...
Rockman (Mega Man) - No comment
Captain Commando - Just as cool as in MVC...
Wolverine - no comment
Shuma Gorath - slightly better than Marvel vs. Street Fighter, but still
difficult to use
Thanos - Haven't developed an opinion... I don't like this character,
but I tried him.
Dan - The self-proclaimed strongest fighter in the world is still fun to
use.
Guile - no comment
Amingo - Fun, powerful, fast, but not too cheap! Great character
Cyclops - no comment
Wolverine - no comment
War Machine - just as boring (and unfortunately just as cheap) as in
MvC.
Ken - Why not add a different character and offer the Ryu change like in
MvC?
Bulletta - Dream come true... but I didn't see the apple super move...
Ryu - no comment
Son Son - Just as much fun as a barrel of monkey! And decent to use too
Marrow - Don't much care for her... cool character, but I can't use her
well
Psylocke - Another much in the vein of Marrow.
Silver Samurai - very cool character, but somewhat cheap.
Sabretooth - I liked him in xvsf, I like him here.
Nash (Charlie) - no comment
Gouki - see Ken
Zangief - Still Zangief. still strong, still too slow.
Ruby Heart - Another dream come true - cute, well-dressed and fun to
use!
Cable - found him to be an altogether average character.
Iceman - don't like him too much but the ice beam is very cool.
Gambit - Glad he's come back for more action... definitely a fun
character
Blackheart - almost worthless is mshvsf, he's just as bad here.
Dhalsim - One of my 3 favorite characters to use.
Jin - no comment
Anakaris - Was somewhat cool in Darkstalkers games, suffers from
4-button limitations.
Hayato - another really cool and quite useful character.
Captain America - no comment
Spiderman - no comment
Juggernaut - Slow and strong, and still tough to use well.
Spiral - cool character, but doesn't work well with my playing style.
Vega (M. Bison) - just like from xvsf
Morrigan - um... her bondage outfit in her winning pose is rather
revealing.
Sakura - Great character for beginners - very easy to use and pretty
strong.
Tron - she's too much fun - her and all her little Kobun-things.
Dr. Doom - another character with a beam attack.
Venom - same as MvC
Magneto - no comment
Colossus - no comment
Cammy - not as good as xvsf... suffers from the 4-button layout, but
still good.
Strider Hiryu - no comment
Jill - a cute idea, but not implemented well enough. Not recommended.
Rogue - no comment
Hulk - no comment
Iron Man - I like Iron Man better than War Machine. Much better.
Kobun - Tiny, cute and effective. (looks like one of those lego-guys)
Roll - Tiny, cute and ineffective. I miss her theme song, though.
Chun-Li - strong choice for beginners - easy controls and fair damage.
Omega Red - no comment
Storm - no comment
Sentinel - no comment
Even with 2 sets being (mostly) palette swaps (Iron Man & War Machine,
Wolverine and Wolverine) and that fact that I would have liked Donovan,
Pyron, or Jon Talbain instead of Anakaris, it's still the most
impressive list of fighters in one game I've ever seen.
Iron Man and War machine differ in that War Machine uses missles and
Iron Man uses beams, and the only difference I've seen between the
Wolverines is the length of the claws.
Another cool comment is that the clock on the.. um... stage with a big
clock... it shows the right time... (if your Dreamcast is set to the
proper time, anyway) Kind of a nice way to remind you how long you've
been playing the game...
Didn't expect to write so much...anyway, the lowdown - if you any of
Capcoms "vs" series, chances are you'll like the latest installment.
A very fun game with a reasonably difficult boss, although with some
spoiler space...

Abyss.
The first form is fairly simple - use damaging moves and then block his
attack. Then do it again and block again.
Then of course he has to change into his gooey green phase. Still not
to difficult if you fire off multi-hit long distance attacks, such as
iceman's ice beam, iron man's beam shot, etc. stay at a distance and
pop the bubbles with your beams.
The third form is where things get a little more interesting. This is
the large lava-poochie form. And of course, you should try to him him in
the ball (he's only got one) This can prove difficult for many of the
characters, since it is higher than some o f the super attacks go, but
someone who shoots high up will work. I think Dhalsim is the best for
this with his Yoga inferno, because you can aim it upwards...
