Here's some comments after an hours worth of playing Sega Rally (Saturn):

Christmas comes EARLY!!! Lets start out by mentioning the fact that this game
is AWESOME! Sega has now delivered the 2nd of their 3 trophy games in
consecutive days... what a week for gaming. Not since Summer '94 when Road
Rash & WOTW shipped in 1 week for 3DO has gaming been this good to me.

Anyway, Sega Rally Championship 1995 is a MUST HAVE game. The graphics are
mind numbing, the car speed is extremely fast, with the textured background
smoothly scaling by. Finally, Sega has delivered a top rate soundtrack and
sound in an arcade driver. The Audio quality compares or surpasses VFR.
For Daytona music haters... there's NO VOCALS, except for Gaaammmeee
Ovvveeeeerrrrr "sung" by the wanna-be Daytona vocalist. The engine & road
noise are powerful, and the car's sounds change when in a tunnel. You will
undoubtedly turn the volume way up when playing Rally with your home theater.

The game's options are numerious, including handling (loose, med, fast), 3
difficulties, Background music level adjustment (1-7), build your own car
(choose tires, handling, tranny, engine noise, etc), Laps per race, Time
trial, practice mode, etc.

There are 2 views: in-car and behind/over car, and you can switch between
them with either of the x, y or z buttons. Go straight for the in-car view,
as playing in that mode is a complete sensory RUSH.

The game plays superb, and the handling is excellent with the standard Saturn
controller. I'd imagine the Arcade Driver would be cool too. Those
having never played this in the arcade, the car slides alot, so get used to
power turns, jumps and the overall rush of flying thru mountain roads in a
Rally car. On the first track it's like Daytona meets Enduro Racer... way
cool!

The 3 tracks are visually a treat and are very playable. The car easily
caroms off the mountains, walls etc, without halting to a complete stop which
keeps the frustration to a minimum. It does NOT handle like HangOn'95 for
those of you that are worrying or disliked it's twitchy bikes.

If you liked Daytona Arcade, you will love this. It looks & plays
better than Daytona Saturn, showing very MINIMAL pop-up. There are NO audio
or visual defects in the game that I have spotted thus far. Comparing to
Rally Arcade by me would be non-informative, as I have not delved into the
arcade game for the simple reason that locally it's nowhere to be found.

Overall this game is another Saturn MUST HAVE EXCLUSIVE. If you have any
criticism of this game, then you must have disliked the Arcade version too.
This game (like VFR & VC) truly delivers what I've been expecting from the
Saturn since it's Japanese release last year. Saturn owners are in for a
treat with Rally... enjoy it!

Summary: Get Sega Rally Championship... NOW!!!
