Quick translation:
"In the latest issue of Famitsu Xbox,Sega stated that is examining the
posibility of bringing the Virtua Fighter series to Xbox 360. The
reason for this is the popularity of the series in Western
markets, where home convertions would be profitable."
The assumption being that, at some point in the not too distant future, it
will be possible to buy a 360 with a hard drive "at retail".
Gareth
I bought a 360 with a HD at retail at Toys R Us. Thanks for playing.
You got that right. Every place I jokingly mention it at, the answer is always
"unless you're on a list, you're not getting one until Spring".
...and MS wonders why people are frothing for the PS3...

I love how you pay for LIVE then have to host your own games, madness!

You pay for the access to xbox live which is a good thing.

1.5 million sold. And by the way, the EB in NYC on lower Broadway has Cores
in stock now.
Street Fighter 360 waves "hello".
Your favorite genre is fighting? Ew.
Typical response from you.
Comparing a 2d fighting game from 15 years ago to a brand new (best in the
genre) 3D fighter just shows how much of a narrow minded fanboy you truly
are.
hopefully the PS3 won't have as many problems as the 360 had...
'hopefully'
....yes, but imagine how many more would have sold if MS could have met
demand...
Now people are reading reviews, hearing about issues, etc. People who wanted
one initially, are deciding to wait for the PS3. Had MS of been able to stock
the shelves far better than they actually did, they'd have those people's money
right now.
Well, it'll have problems...all new systems do, but it's sad that right now
your chances of getting a PS3 *that isn't even out yet* is higher than getting
a fucking 360 two months after its release. ;)
Yeah, I like fighting games. It's not any stupider than liking FPS games.
Fighting games have a hell of alot more replay value. True, they aren't the
games I always want to play for hours, but they have their place.
OK, I guess I could live without a Virtua Fighter or XBox but it would
still be a major disappointment. MS should be working harder to secure a
better lineup of games.
And Street Fighter is not that great, at least I am not a big fan.
Street Fighter is way too combo heavy, I like the more tactical style of
Virtua Fighter better. DOA is good but very easy for n00bs to get cheap
kills- good party game, but not the most serious fighter. Virtua Fighter is
practically the apotheosis of fighting games, it is like comparing chess to
checkers. Mortal Kombat is good for the old-school fighting- it has combos
but they aren't too long or hard to pull off.
It's more pathetic than sad
how easily we forget?
I have purchased nearly every system ever created launch week and I don't
recall other systems having nearly as many problems as MS is having with the
360.

any one can develope common sense either through experience or living

world.
I don't blame you there.

Oy, sounds like a true "EA experience". ;)

Yeah, I know it. I'd pre-order the day they'd accept it.

I'm really, really turned off by the controller(even more than the fact that
it's a Nintendo system). I mean, if it were something like, say, the Light
Zapper...where you use it on certain games and it wasn't the console's main
controller...sure, why not, seems ok. As the system's main controller
though!? I wish Nintendo was kidding...but knowing their dumb-asses, they're
not. ;)
