Okay, I'm reposting what I said early about MK2 32X, but under
a review heading.

Graphics: Very well done. The characters seem to look the same as
Genises version, but with a tad more color. I thought
the Genesis did very well with the characters to start
with. Also the characters have more frames, and seem to flow
smoother. There also seems to be a little more blood.
The backgrounds have been redone with nice colors. The game
Does have the full intro and ending. The still shots are
awsome! They look exactly like the arcade. Also Kintaro
and Shoa Khan seem to be more colorfull.

Music: Seems to be exactly like the Genesis, but with more of a beat.

Sound: Totally Awsome! All the speech from the arcade has been imported.
When you choose your character it says their name. When you win
it says Kitana wins, flawless victory, fatality, etc... The sound
effects have also been improved, though you will get sick of
the people screaming after awhile.

Gameplay: The gameplay is very good. They seem to have changed some
of the basic moves to match the arcade. The one noticable change
is the uppercut. When you crouch you must hit HP to do the upper
cut, LP does a groin punch. Oh yeah, the cheat modes don't work

Overall: I like it alot! If you have the genesis version and like it, you
will love this version. Sell your Genesis one and buy this one,
it is quite costly, 70 bucks. Some magazine seemed to have given
it bad ratings, Game Players gave it a 76. Don't be fooled by them,
they just gave it a bad rating because it came out to much later
then the Genesis version (they say this in the review). If your
not sure rent it, but I think you will like it, unless your
one of thoose whiners who want nothing but the perfect arcade
version.

MK2-32x looks pretty good to buy. As for Game Players -that's a SNES
rag -all their Genesis reviews always suck when the same game is for the
SNES -They're the only mag that preferred the Lion King version on SNES
than on Genesis -despite what the other mags saying that the Genesis
version way way superior to the SNES in animation, sound, and gameplay.

Why? Because I think Aladdin and the other Disney games were bettter on
the Genesis but for once the SNES got the better Disney game, I'm a SNES
lover and Sega hater? Aladdin, better on the Genesis, Mickey Mouse games
better on the Genesis, Jungle Book, better on the Genesis. Lion King? Oh
my god, such quality on the SNES.

I think perhaps the original poster is thinking of Aladdin? or The Jungle
Book? Both of those games received higher ratings on the Genny than on the
SNES. But if I'm not mistaken, the Lion King was unanimously given better
ratings than it's Sega counterpart. I don't have my magazines with me to prove
it at the moment, but I'm fairly certain that that's right.

Ay-men to that. GP gave the Genny MK2 a 92%, the SNES a 95%. Nope, sorry,
that ain't right; they bash they Genny version as much as they can, which,
admittedly, isn't much. Still, they said in the Sega review that the music
sounded like Pac-Man, and that it was "twangy." Yeah, sure. It's the same
music as the arcade; maybe not quite as good, but. . .
You get my point. The Genesis is better than the arcade, in that you don't
have to feed quarters into it to make it work. Plus debug codes, Game Genie
codes, and loads of blood right in your living room. A 76% for the 32X? Not
bloody (pun intended) likely.
I just have one beef: whaddaheck happened to Barakas' victory pose? It's
like the blades are just too heavy for his arms! He just stands there, bowing
like a monk! Oh well. . .

No you choose to ignore it. I've done so many times. As for Lion King
sound was one aspect, and I could go on with how good Lion King was on
the SNES. The only part that comes to mind where the Genesis version was
better was in the second level when the sky changes from day to sunset.
It was a better effect. I just put in Lion King the other day and the
difference clearly shows. The Genesis does have some redeeming parts such
as the speech, but its a bit better sampled on the SNES. To keep things
simple I didn't go in depth but by all means if you want me to, I will
support my claims.

Funny thing is, Marty, that when you think a Genny version
is better than a SNES version, you rarely say it. ( Personally I've
never seen a post other than the one above). As for my opinions
on your views, well they remain unchanged. One post doesn't make
up for near endless whining that you do about Sega. BTW, Sound
