Received it yesterday and I think it's super cool. The quality of the molding
is as good as the bone white units. It's a deep semi-gloss black with white
lettering for the logos and MS indicators. I't made in China...the same as my
original unit. The controller is stricly American issue. The D-pad and
buttons don't have the tilt that the Japanese versions have....this one is
exactly like the original NA ones exept, it's black with the Sega Sports logo
on it. The package comes with the two pack-in games...NFL2K1 and NBA2K1 but,
it also has the updated sample disc and the Seganet version 2.0 browser in a
jewel box. The Box for the whole system is definitely much different that the
original. The upper portion of it is black which fades to orange on the left
and green on the right with a large picture of the console in the direct
middle of the box and a picture of the controller above the console. There's
a picture on either side of particualr sports players representing the sports
game pack-ins. NBA on the left and NFL on the right. The top most portion of
the front of the box has the Dreamcast name and orange swirl in large
size...about 2 inches for the lettering and 3 inches for the swirl, and
directly below the name are the words "the ultimate sports gaming system".
The back of the box has 6 game pictures, 3 for each pack-in game and, a
cut-out for the serial number. The sides are standard fare with the Dreamcast
name and swirl on all four....nothing special. All in all, the package is
very atractive with high quality print. It comes with everything the normal
package comes with plus, the two jewel boxed games.

I really don't care to set this unit up but, rather am going to save it as a
collector's item. I purchased it from www.twec.com for $131.00 + shipping.

Thanks for the info and confirming the controller type. Can you post what
games are on the updated sampler disc? And what you're saying is that the
2.0 browser is a seperate disc from the new samper disc, right?

The package is packed basically the same way the normal system is with the
exception of the two jewel boxed games being added in on the sports pack. The
sampler disc may or may not be the very latest as far as updating is
concerned but, it's updated from the regular system I bought earlier in this
year. The sampler disc comes with:

Tomb Raider: The Last Revelation
Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver
Tony Hawk's Pro Skater
Railroad Tycoon 2
Sonic Adventure
Dead or Alive 2
Rayman 2
Fur Fighters
MDK 2

A very good assortement of great games for this one sampler disc! The Browser
is seperate with its own jewel box and is the latest version. Also of
interest is the games retain the normal design...white spine type...rather
than the new bargain game packaging.
