Does anybody have any expreience with this television supposedly made
specially for gamers? I know that it is a 13'' tv with a supposedly great
sound system built in which is supposedly high resolution to make your
games look great. Has anybody either purchased one or atleast seen one in
action?
If so, please reply by mail as I don't too often get on to these groups.

Thanks much,

-Nos

I read in the latest Gamefan that new models are going to have S-video
capabilities.

I'd have to disagree. We have a couple in our offices, and despite the
lack of S-Video support, the image clarity is extremely good. It's an
ideal solution for our desktops, as it does have good sound, and image
clarity in a small footprint. It is really an excellent solution for
college students living in dorm rooms, where space is limited.

Uhhh...Yeah. I've never known a dormie who would buy a $350 13"
TV over a $400 27" TV. :) There's always enough room for a better
TV. Heck, I knew guys who had a 7' sofa in their room. The computers
were on the other side. (They raised the beds up about 5' and put
everything underneath them. )

I have a 27" Proscan 123 and the Samsung GX. I use s-video on the Proscan
and composite on the GX. Some games look better on the GX!!! The smaller
screen and resolution make some games look cleaner than my 27". Tekken2
and VF2 look better on the Proscan but Madden(psx), NBA extreme,Pennant
race and others do look much better on the GX!

Yep. In my college days, they entire doublewide desk covering one
wall, meant for both roomies, was completely covered by my tv and
stereo equipment, and a massive pair (like, 4' tall, and about a foot
on each side) of speakers. Plus some Bose 201s for satellites...

In a room that couldn't have been more than like 9' by 14', we rocked
da house, literally...

The other desk was taken up by a computer that never got used except
to write bogus term papers. I guess they expected us to be REALLY
studious. 3 desks for 2 guys... Go fig...

Bottom line: College is for party, not study...

It's $300, not $200.
