Actually, that's probably pretty much how it happened. Although I have held
a prototype Xbox controller and it's much more robust-feeling than the
Dreamcast's. It's heavier and seems to be made of tougher plastic. The
button action wasn't too good, but it was a prototype. It's not quite as big
as a Dreamcast controller though.
