I just did, and the old man still says "Someone close to you is in
trouble." If I don't have Magus, then Queen Zeal wouldn't be close to
anyone else, plus I already saved Lucca's mom and Marle's dad. Who
could it be?

Well I could be wrong here, but wasn't the pendant a family heirloom,so if both
Marle and Schala had them wouldn't they be related so if thy're related, Marle
and Queen Zeal would be related . Well they wouldn't be very close. So I guess
thats a real long shot.

I still think Schala is the one close to someone. Sure Zeal is related
to Magus, but shes a real b!tch. Also , a "Game Players" magizine was
reviewing Chrono Trigger and said "you get different endings depending on
whether you (some stuff we know) and if you find Schala". I've looked for
her... haven't found her.

hm....now's a good time for Squaresoft to make a plug-and-play adapter....and add on some extra
quests and some more secrets...(have you heard these lately?REDNU...OldMan...Schala...these
are things that square could use to make the game even better!!!!!!!!!)actually,ever since i
met them in the game...always wanted Masa&Mune in the party(and not just as a sword...)ah well....

Actually, if I am not mistaken, I thought Schala was another ancestor of
Marle (hence the pendant being handed down). If this is the case, then

I don't know about saving Schala, but I do know that the old man (The
Guru of Time) meant. Not specifically, but when you get Crono back,
do not put Lucca and Frog in your group. So you can talk to them at
the end of time. They'll both give you a clue as to what your next
step is and possibly what the Guru of Time meant.
